“Strictly Social”graced N.Y.C for one night only at Sutra Lounge…

The event was “strictly dope” from where I was sitting, I mean dancing, vibe-ing out to some of the hottest up and coming nu-soul talent around. Being a singer myself I have high standards, and I can honestly say these performers brought the heat. Vice Lounge cruised right through technical difficulties and filled the room with his earthy sound and seemed to have fun playing off the live accompaniment of his guitarist. Next up, with no introduction needed- Jade demanded the rooms attention as she began to sing “Ordinary Girl”. If there is one thing Jade isn’t, it’s ordinary. Jade has an extraordinary voice, a style all her own, and is on her way to the top.
